A private, independent, local ministry which covers the areas of healing, blessings, peace, liberation and deliverance. Though drawing from Catholic traditions, this ministry does not discriminate who we pray with.

Fr. Bob's Bio
Hello! My name is Father Robert L. Bailey – commonly known as Father Bob. I am a native of Cranston, Rhode Island (RI) and a retired Roman Catholic priest. I earned a bachelor's degree in education and human development at RI College, and attended Our Lady of Providence Seminary in Warwick, RI before attending Major Seminary in Emmitsburg, Maryland where I earned a master's degree in theology. I was ordained to the priesthood in 1993.
Having an interest in the paranormal since childhood, I began to feel a calling to assist those working in the area of paranormal research with my priesthood. I felt that the Church and the Catholic faith could bring some age-old wisdom and spiritual authority to the table in the area of the demonic. This desire was confirmed through association with Keith and Sandra Johnson of New England Anomalies Research (NEAR) where I was a guest a few times on their local access series and attending tapings of the show.
Through a series of circumstances, my friendship with Ryan Buell of the Paranormal Research Society (PRS) led to collaborating with him on various Paranormal State television series where dark forces were suspected. This work gave me both experience and exposure along with credibility in the paranormal field. Because of this, I began to receive numerous requests for assistance from individuals and various paranormal investigators in my local area. The need became such that I founded a ministry - The Praesidium Warriors of St. Michael (PWSM) - and a website to be at the service of investigators and individuals who may encounter negative or demonic forces by way of education and training in spiritual warfare.
Besides having been a Guest on Paranormal State episodes with Ryan, I also had the privilege to work with the late Lorraine Warren (whom I loved dearly!), Michelle Belanger, and Chip Coffey. I also appeared on Animal Planet’s, The Haunted, as well as Haunted Happenings (later called Confronting the Darkness - a talk show on YouTube with Rob Jacobs). I have also been a guest on such radio shows as Sheena LATalk Radio, Swords of St Michael, Paranormal Insider, Behind the Paranormal, SHOK Radio, Anomalies, and most recently, Paranormal Zone.
In the Summer of 2024, I retired from leadership of PWSM handing it to my friend, James Annitto as Director, while continuing to be a spiritual advisor and consulting in cases where spiritual warfare and liberation is needed. This is when I began the Holy Sword Apostolate (HSA). James is likewise a consultant for HSA. The two ministries of the Holy Sword Apostolate and PWSM work together through a series of lectures and teachings called, Faith & Reason.
